To work

Looking for inspiration?

Do you feel challenged as a teacher to actively search

to activities that encourage your students in the classroom to process the subject matter in depth

where they not only experience the relevance of the preliminary task,

but also working with the cognitively more complex levels of Bloom?

Getting started with Flipped Learning

What's in a name?

Within Flipped Learning you let your students work at home, in their 'individual space', at their own pace on "the easy stuff", especially understanding new subject matter or recalling already known subject matter. In this way, more time is freed up to actively work on the deeper processing of the subject matter within the 'group space' during class hours. Students, with the support of the teacher, can work towards the higher goals as set forth by Bloom.
