Research Flipped Learning in Language Education


Research design

In the project, departments of Latin, French, English and Dutch work as Teacher Design Teams. These are self-directed groups that develop education together and can always call on a researcher to assist them in the process of putting Flipped Learning into practice for the language profession.


Research objectives

The aim of this research project is twofold: • to make practical and educationally relevant recommendations for the professional field, policy and teacher training • to generate elaborate and tested examples of good practices for Flipped Learning in language education


Research questions

The research questions that we propose, on the one hand, deal with the current state of affairs with regard to Flipped Learning and language education? Otherwise, based on the action research, we look at the pitfalls and levers surrounding Flipped Learning, from which we formulate recommendations for (specific themes) in language education for practice and policy.


Research output

Research report with practical and educationally relevant recommendations for the professional field, policy and teacher training. Elaborated and tested examples of good practices for Flipped Learning in language teaching professionalization of the field, teacher educators and student teacher training
